These are the perfect retainer for a sugar scoop. They're easy to grip so you can flip it out to change and as someone else said, the retention is nice and secure. I'm buying another so each of my hoods has one. It's a small accessory but it's every bit as valuable as the aluminum hood knobs.

I am long time retired with an old hood I use occasionally. The plastic garbage that is readily available will not work. This works just fine.

Very strong and supportive retention, plus I change lens frequently and still works great, imo it’s a little pricey but then again good quality usually is!

Best way to go. Every time I change my lens or batteries in it I always wonder if it is going to break this time. Don’t have that problem anymore
